Food is one of the most important things that man cannot live without. Everyone is in need of food and yet in order to make food, we have to use a lot of resources and sometimes, we even pollute the land – and water – with chemicals like fertilizers or pesticides. So in order to help reduce pollution and at the same time sustain our stomachs, we have compiled a list of foods to eat and other related stuff so that eating organic food is not going to sound like an alien concept but more of a good idea.
• If it’s impossible for you to buy all organic foods (organic produce can be pricier than their inorganic counterparts, plus not all supermarkets or grocery store provide a good selection for organic produce), then you might want to consider to just choosing organic over inorganic when buying bell peppers, celery, lettuce, cherries, nectarines, strawberries, lettuce, grapes, apples and pears. The reason for that is because these are some of the foods that when grown inorganically, can be heavily contaminated with pesticides or fertilizers, which can have a negative effect on the body.
